NEW INTERACTIVE TOUCH PANELS AIDE LEARNING
Frankston East Primary School has installed ten new interactive touch panels thanks to $20,000 in funding from the Dunkley Local Schools Community Fund.
Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP recently visited the school to see how the new touch panels encouraged greater participation in learning.
“The new displays provide students with access to the latest technology and encourage greater adaptability, problem solving and critical thinking.” Ms Murphy said.
“Our local teachers and support staff do a fantastic job teaching our kids, they deserve to be supported with the best equipment.”
“Frankston East Primary School is a great local school. I’m very proud to support our community with this funding.”
The panels have been installed across the school including in their Music, Science and LOTE Rooms.
The Dunkley Local Schools Community Fund delivers funding to assist schools with small capital works and equipment purchases.
