NEW JUNIOR PLAYGROUND A BIG HIT WITH STUDENTS

Langwarrin Park Primary School has constructed a new junior playground thanks to $20,000 in funding from the Dunkley Local Schools Community Fund.

Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP recently visited the school to see how the new playground encourages greater engagement in outdoor learning and play.

“The playground has been cleverly designed for younger students with elements that enhance the environment for outdoor learning.” Ms Murphy said.

“Not only will it be heaps of fun but also allow students to engage in more outdoor play which is beneficial to their mental and physical wellbeing.”

“Langwarrin Park Primary School is a fantastic local school. I’m very proud to support our community with this funding.”

The Dunkley Local Schools Community Fund delivers funding to assist schools with small capital works and equipment purchases.
