FIRST GLIMPSE OF NEW LOOK LLOYD PARK PAVILION
The first concept designs have been released for the new Lloyd Park Pavilion in Langwarrin ahead of the detailed planning phase.
The new pavilion will be used by the Langwarrin Football Netball Club, Langwarrin Cricket Club, Langwarrin Junior Football Club and the local community and will be built on the site of the current rooms built back in the 1970s.
The current design includes:
- 200 seat function room
- Four unisex change rooms
- Canteen and kitchen
- Meeting room and offices
- Public amenities
The $6 million building will have disability access and is being jointly funded by the Federal Government and Frankston City Council.
Federal Member for Dunkley Peta Murphy MP is a great supporter of the pavilion and is looking forward to delivering the project.
“This terrific new pavilion will not only benefit the local clubs and user groups at Lloyd Park but also the wider Langwarrin community” Ms Murphy said.
“Langwarrin Football and Netball Club, Langwarrin Cricket Club and Langwarrin Junior Football Club are all terrific community clubs. This important upgrade will allow these clubs, some of the biggest in the state, to grow and reach even more people in our community.”
“This has been a long time in the making, congratulations to the clubs and the Langwarrin community - I’m proud to be part of it.”
