FUNDING FOR MUM’S SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN NEED

Mum’s Supporting Families in Need (MSFIN) in Seaford has purchased new IT equipment and storage racks thanks to $18,000 in funding from the Dunkley Stronger Communities Programme.

Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP recently visited the group to see firsthand how the upgrades are supporting their work.

“The new equipment will allow Mum’s Supporting Families in Need to increase storage for material aid and streamline their process” Ms Murphy said.

“Mum’s Supporting Families in Need plays such an important role in our local community. I am proud to be supporting them with this funding”.

MSFIN provides material aid to vulnerable families in crisis. In 2020 alone, they provided support to over 4,000 individuals and processed over 1,100 orders.

The Dunkley Stronger Communities Programme delivers funding to assist community groups with small capital works projects.
