FUNDING TO HELP BELVEDERE PARK TENNIS CLUB

Belvedere Park Tennis Club in Seaford has purchased new outdoor seating and shade thanks to $3,981 in funding from the Dunkley Stronger Communities Program.

Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP recently visited the club to officially open the new outdoor seated space.

“The new seating and shade will be used by players, spectators, visitors and parents watching their children play tennis. These improvements will ensure people are comfortable and also sun smart during the warmer months” Ms Murphy said.

“Belvedere Park Tennis Club is a terrific local club. I’m pleased to have supported them with this funding”.

The new benches were created using recycled plastic by Replas in Carrum Downs.

The Dunkley Stronger Communities Program delivers funding to assist with small capital works projects for the community.
