NEW E-BIKES TO PROMOTE WELLBEING

The Langwarrin Men’s Shed has purchased three new electric bikes thanks to $4,427 in funding from the Dunkley Volunteer Grants Program.

Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP recently joined the Men’s Shed to chat to members and test ride their new e-bikes.

“The Langy Men’s Shed is a welcoming volunteer organisation that promotes mateship, community and wellbeing. These new e-bikes will mean more members can join their weekly rides” Ms Murphy said.

“Members do a terrific job creating an atmosphere that encourages participation and promotes wellbeing. I’m very proud to have supported them with this funding”.

The Men’s Shed, located at 185N Cranbourne-Frankston Rd, Langwarrin is open to new members who are interested in learning new skills, connecting with friends, and sharing experiences.

The Dunkley Volunteer Grants Program delivers funding to assist volunteer led groups with small equipment purchases.
