NEW LANGWARRIN DOG PARK OFFICIALLY OPENED
Langwarrin now has a new fenced dog park thanks to a partnership between the Langwarrin Township Committee, The Andrews Foundation, Frankston City Council and the Dunkley Stronger Communities Programme.
Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP recently officially opened the new park alongside Sam Neeman, Manager of the Langwarrin Community Centre.
“This is great news for our local community and our four-legged friends. Congratulations to the Langwarrin Community Centre and the local community on this terrific result” Ms Murphy said.
“For years, Langwarrin locals have been asking for a dedicated, secure off leash dog park, I’m very proud that together we have delivered it”.
The new park is located at 95 Southgateway Langwarrin and is a fully secure off leash park.
The Dunkley Stronger Communities Programme provided $16,755 towards the project. The Programme provides funding to local groups for small-scale capital works that improve community participation and contribute to vibrant and viable communities.
