NEW PLAY EQUIPMENT FOR CHILDREN AT LANGWARRIN COMMUNITY CENTRE
An elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver $13,000 to purchase new play equipment for children enrolled in childcare and three-year old kinder at the Langwarrin Community Centre.
The Langwarrin Community Centre is a much-loved not-for-profit, providing educational, recreational and general support programs for people of all ages.
The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the Morrison Governments’ mishandling of the childcare subsidy has put Langwarrin Community Centre in a difficult financial situation. As such, the Centre has not been able to upgrade some of their outdated equipment.
The new equipment will include a Technicolour Walkboard Set, Soft Fall Mats, Kombi and Caravan Play set and a new sandpit.
Over 150 childcare children and 50 three-year-old kinder kids will be able to enjoy the new play equipment.
This announcement reaffirms Federal Labor’s commitment to deliver a Better Future for Australian families and children.
