NEW SEATS AT BELVEDERE BOWLS CLUB
Belvedere Bowls Club in Seaford has installed 10 new bench seats thanks to $3,435 in funding from the Dunkley Stronger Communities Programme.
Federal Member for Dunkley, Peta Murphy MP today met with club representatives to see the benefit that these new seats are providing to members.
The 10 new seats, made from recycled plastic from local Carrum Downs company Replas, will provide ideal back support for the club’s 180 members.
“This funding has enabled Belvedere Bowls Club to purchase new comfortable bench seats which are environmentally friendly and manufactured locally” Ms Murphy said.
“I’m thrilled to be able to support this great club and ensure that players and spectators have comfortable seating when not on the green”
“Belvedere Bowls Club plays such an important role in our local community, I’m very proud to be supporting them with this funding”.
The Dunkley Stronger Communities Programme delivers funding to local groups for small-scale capital works that improve community participation and contribute to vibrant and viable communities.
